A native Memphian, born into an automobile dealer’s family, Farrar Schaeffer Peckham began working on the used car side of Bluff City Autoplex in 1992. At that time, the dealership sold Buick, Nissan, Isuza and Honda automobiles. She started as a telephone receptionist.
